Ingredients:

  • 4 pcs fish fillet
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten

  • Optional: Paprika

Steps:

  1. Pat the fish fillet with a paper towel until dry.

Roasted Vegetable Panini

Roasted Vegetable Panini

But If you want to recreate restaurant-quality dishes, you can make them at home with your Hanabishi 2in1 Panini Press and Griller and some ingredients from your local grocery. Because of the grill marks, your mom will think that you bought it from a premium café. 

Ingredients For Roasted Vegetable Panini:

  • 4 slices bread, white or wheat
  • ½ eggplant
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 pc tomato
  • 6 pcs lettuce leaves
  • 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup oil, olive oil is preferred
  • Salt and pepper

Steps:

  1. Slice the eggplant, cucumber, and tomato. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and olive oil.

  3. Combine the mayonnaise, honey syrup, and barbecue sauce in a bowl. Spread on each side of the bread.

Baked Carrot Crisps

If you order breaded fish-fillet and vegetable panini from a restaurant, you would typically be served with some potato wedges, fries, or chips. But because your goal is to make healthy dishes this Mother’s Day, you can make it with carrots. You can also use other vegetables such as sweet potatoes and cucumber for this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 500g carrots

Steps:

  2. Line your baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.

  5. Lay each piece on the baking tray.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the carrots are crispy.
