Let’s explore more summer dessert recipes you can try at home.

Mango Graham Float

Mango Graham Float

Mango Graham Float is a staple in Filipino celebrations; whether it's birthdays, Christmas, or fiestas, this creamy and refreshing dessert is always present. But who says you have to wait for a special occasion? With the summer heat in full swing, this no-bake treat is the perfect way to cool down and satisfy your sweet tooth. Best of all, it’s super easy to make at home.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe mangoes, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 packs of Graham crackers
  • 2 cups all-purpose cream (chilled)
  • 1 can (300ml) condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • Crushed Graham crackers

Steps:

In a bowl, whisk the chilled all-purpose cream until it thickens slightly. Gradually add the condensed milk and mix until well combined.
In a rectangular container, arrange a layer of Graham crackers, followed by a generous spread of the cream mixture, then top with sliced mangoes. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the container.
Let the Mango Graham Float set in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or better yet, overnight for the best texture.

For a perfectly chilled Mango Graham Float, store it in the Hanabishi Single Door Refrigerator, which saves up to 30% on electricity consumption, so you can keep your desserts cold without worrying about your bill.

Air-fried banana Turon with Caramel Sauce

Craving turon but want a healthier version without all the deep frying? Try this Air-Fried Banana Turon with Caramel Sauce, a crispy, golden take on the classic merienda favorite. Using the Hanabishi Air Fryer, you can achieve that perfect crunch with little to no oil. It’s spacious enough to air-fry up to 3 lbs of turon in one go, perfect for sharing!

Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 12 lumpia wrappers
  • ½ cup brown sugar (for coating the bananas)
  • ¼ cup water (for sealing the wrappers)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)

For the Caramel Sauce:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Steps:

  1. Roll each banana slice in brown sugar, coating it evenly.
  2. Place the sugared banana on a lumpia wrapper, roll it tightly, and seal the edge with a bit of water.
  3. Preheat the Hanabishi Air Fryer to 180°C. Lightly brush the turon with melted butter, then place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a pan, melt the sugar over medium heat until golden. Stir in the butter, then slowly add the heavy cream, whisking continuously until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the warm caramel sauce over your freshly air-fried banana turon and enjoy a crunchy, guilt-free treat!

Creamy Avocado Ice Candy

Nothing beats a cold and creamy treat during the scorching summer months, and Avocado Ice Candy is the perfect refreshing dessert to make at home. Avocados are loaded with healthy fats, fiber, and vitamins, making this a treat you can enjoy without guilt. Plus, with our Super Blender, you can easily blend everything to a silky consistency.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice candy plastic bags

Steps:

  1. Scoop out the avocados and place them in the blender along with condensed milk, fresh milk, all-purpose cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Using a funnel, pour the blended mixture into the ice candy plastic bags, leaving some space at the top. Tie each bag tightly to seal.
  3. Arrange the ice candy in your refrigerator, and let it set for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight for the best texture.

Halo-Halo

Halo-Halo

Halo-halo is a classic Filipino dessert that everyone loves, especially during the hot summer months. With its colorful layers of sweet ingredients and finely crushed ice, it’s the ultimate refreshing treat. But instead of waiting in line at your favorite halo-halo spot, why not make your own at home?

The key to a perfect halo-halo is finely crushed ice that stays cold and doesn’t melt too fast, and that’s where the Hanabishi Ice Maker comes in. With its fast 8–10 minute ice-making cycle, you’ll have the perfect amount of ice to make halo-halo anytime.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • ¼ cup sweetened saba bananas
  • ¼ cup sweetened red and green gulaman
  • ¼ cup sweetened jackfruit
  • ¼ cup boiled sweetened beans
  • ¼ cup nata de coco
  • ¼ cup kaong
  • 2 tbsp macapuno
  • 1 scoop ube halaya
  • 1 scoop vanilla or ube ice cream
  • 2 tbsp leche flan
  • ½ cup evaporated milk

Steps:

  1. In a tall glass, add the sweetened fruits, beans, and jellies. You can mix and match your favorite halo-halo ingredients.
  2. Fill the glass with finely crushed ice and pour the evaporated milk evenly over the crushed ice to give it that creamy goodness.
  3. Finish it with a scoop of ube halaya, a slice of leche flan, and a generous scoop of ice cream for that extra indulgent taste.
