HOW TO COOK RICE

We just bought a Hanabishi Low Sugar Rice Cooker but we need guidance about the right measurements of water.

Congratulations on your new Hanabishi Low Sugar Rice Cooker! To ensure you get the best results when cooking rice with it, here's a general guideline on the water-to-rice ratio:

For White Rice:
The typical water-to-rice ratio is 1:1.25 or 1.5 (1 cup of rice to 1.25 or 1.5 cups of water).
For Brown Rice:
The ratio is usually 1:1.5 or 1:1.75 (1 cup of rice to 1.5 or 1.75 cups of water).
For Low Sugar Rice Function:
If you're using the 'Low Sugar' feature, the cooker might adjust the water level slightly to help reduce sugar content. Generally, you would follow the standard water-to-rice ratio but experiment a little to find the right balance for your taste preferences.
Steps for use:

Measure the rice using the cup that comes with the cooker.
Add water based on the ratio above, depending on the type of rice you're using.
If you’re cooking a large batch, you can scale the measurements proportionally.
It’s a good idea to check your rice after cooking. If it’s too soft or sticky, reduce the water slightly next time. If it's a bit hard or undercooked, you may need to add a little more water.
